Oh My Goodness... the cutest cake EVER!

Okay, I just picked up the cake for today's Woodland Whimsy party... WOW is all I can say. Those ladies at Patisserie Angelica in Sebastopol are amazing!!!

Its a chocolate wooden log cake with mushrooms, moss and fairy dust!

New Hours and an Extra Day

Well, its that time of the year again, school is mostly back in and parents are breathing that sigh of relief as they sit back and relax...quite fills the house (for now), and you are able to actually sip your morning coffee. Because we too are moms here, at I'm a Little Teapot, our children can only be at school for so long. Believe me, we have tried to convince them to take them all, but to no avail. So we must pick them up from school at a certain time. Thus, causing us to change our store hours during the school year. Along with the school thing, this time of year the darkness begins to come earlier and earlier, and shoppers don't stay out as long.

We are now open from 10-5, BUT we are OPEN ON MONDAYS! Yeah, 1 more day of shopping!

So, stop in after you drop off those kiddies, or bring them along ( we have a play area!) and do a little soul shopping. We have some beautiful new additions to the store.

Also, a friendly reminder that the rain is right around the corner and indoor birthday parties book up fast. So reserve the date ahead of time to make sure you get the date you want~

We got sneeky and changed the store around...

So we got in some wonderful new items and it required us to move the store around..come on in and check us out. See our new items such as Paperwings for Fall (I wish they made these in my size I would buy them out!)

Also this new organic line, Frencybaby, well I LOVE them. They donate 5% of every sale to a charitable organization that benefits children. Not only are they wonderful for doing that but the clothing is made all organic and is the best quality and softest cotton. Boys and girls sizes range from 0-18months. The prices are hard to beat on this adorable clothing.
New in is our gift items as well: Stacking blocks, Going to Grandmas suitcase with included fleece blanket and rattle, and these fanciful fairies. These fairies have a wonderful story that goes along with each one. They are all unique and included is a website where you can log on and find out more about your fairy.

Taste of Railroad Square, on Saturday August 23, 2008 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM is a culinary journey of Santa Rosa, California's Historic Railroad Square District's finest foods, wines, brews and a delightful celebration of its unique ambiance and business establishments. Taste of Railroad Square will feature an afternoon of sampling delicacies, wine, shopping, music and much more!

TASTE THE FOOD, WINE, BEER AND ENTERTAINMENT

Taste of Railroad Square guests purchase 'Taste' passports in advance by calling the 6th Street Playhouse at (707) 523-4185 ext. 1. (Tickets will also be available beginning at 10:30 AM on the day of the event at the information booth.) On the day of the event, starting at 12:00 PM, passport holders follow the event map provided, take a stroll around beautiful Historic Railroad Square to visit individual restaurants, shops and businesses, and present tasting tickets to individual businesses. For each ticket, tasters receive a sample portion of the featured food, wine or beverage item.

This is a wonderful opportunity to discover what Historic Railroad Square has to offer while tasting, sipping and strolling through the afternoon.

Many merchants will also be offering special sales and discounts to tasters and some will provide music, magic and other lively entertainment.

There is a New Baby in the Teapot Family!

I'm a Little Teapot is proud to announce the arrival of Kayse's newest daughter, Kenley Novelle. She was born to Kayse on August 15th, weighing in at 6lbs 6oz. She is beautiful and looks just like her sisters. Both mom and daughter are home and happy.
I am sure you will all get a chance to meet her as she will be coming in with Kayse all the time to work, after this much needed rest time, of course!

Favorite Item of the week...

So I thought I would let you all know what my favorite item is that we have in the store.......

Hands down, it is the funky love seat that we had made. Being inspired by Anthropology, you can imagine how excited Kayse and I were when we ran across the exact man that makes all the furniture and chairs for Anthropology! It was destiny. So we had this amazing love seat and chair made up. The chair has already found a comfy home, but we still have the love seat..waiting and sadly waiting...who will give it a home?

It's on sale people, from $2,400. down to $1,500.00! Wow, you sure are getting a heck of a deal on that. We just need the space, and have new items coming in, so we have to get it out.
